Earth Experience

Earth Experience provides fun and effective, informal learning experiences that boost classroom learning. Located in Murfreesboro, Earth Experience is filled with thousands of relics, fossils, gems, rocks, dinosaur bones, models and exhibits that help bring our world’s early days to life.  There are exciting and interesting exhibits to explore and touch, with staff-led tours along with a mobile app to enhance what you see. Our field trips include a guided tour. Staff members will walk your group through each room and explain each exhibit in depth. Students get an opportunity to ask questions and speak with real paleontologists! They will also get an opportunity to see the space where we work on our fossils in house as well as some current projects our preparers are working on! This usually takes about an hour and a half to complete.
