About the event
Join us for a day at Anderson Road Recreation Area and their "lake beach," as my kids call it. There is a $5 charge per car for admission and I believe they only take cash, so make sure you bring some with you. This area has a playground, bathrooms, some shady trees that are perfect for hammocks, and a sandy beach with roped off swimming area. Bring your floats, buckets, sand toys, towels, and beach chairs. Bring snacks or a picnic lunch and stay as long as you like!
