About the event
Explore, experiment, and connect to nature. Situated in a urban wetland nature preserve, Shelby Bottoms Nature Center welcomes students to engage with the natural world and build a lifelong love of science, exploration and learning. The naturalists at Shelby Bottoms will lead us on an exploration of their meadows to find plant and animal life. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy after the session. Shelby Bottoms also has a wonderful natural playground area that is super fun for kids. You may want to bring a change of clothes and towels since this area can get dirty and muddy (i.e. FUN!).
