About the event
Stones River National Battlefield preserves the site of one of the most important battles of the American Civil War. The Battle of Stones River began on the last day of 1862 and became one of the bloodiest conflicts of the Civil War. The battle produced important military and political gains for the Union, and it changed forever the people who lived and fought here. Our event will include a tour of the historic battlefield and hands on activities for the students.
This event is for 3rd-12th graders only. The park has asked that smaller siblings be left at home. Our tour will include lots of walking/hiking and there are lots of boulders and steep obstacles that are difficult for littles and won't work for strollers.
We have one field trip coordinator ticket available.  If you register as the field trip coordinator,  you will be responsible for greeting group members as…
