About the event
Students enrolled in an English or Writing class at the Curve this year are invited to a very special FREE event. We only have spots for 30 students, so please only register if you truly plan to attend. Only students need to register. Parents can accompany their student without a ticket.
The Southern Festival of Books is hosting their annual Student Reader Day. This is a chance for students to meet and hear some of their favorite authors speak, plus take home their newest books for free.
Student Day will be held on Thursday, October 16, with author meet-and-greets, writing exercises, and book giveaways courtesy of Parnassus Books Foundation and Dollar General Foundation. Featured authors will be New York Times Bestseller Jeanne Birdsall and award-winning Jason Reynolds.
