The Adventure Science Center with Dissection Lab

For over 75 years, Adventure Science Center has been bringing science to life for students, teachers, and families in Middle Tennessee and across the U.S. The science center offers engaging learning experiences and science fun through hands-on, interactive exhibits, innovative programs, and full-dome productions in the state-of-the-art Sudekum Planetarium.

Our field trip will have a biology theme and will include a squid dissection.

SQUID DISSECTION – Squids offer budding biologists a great introduction to the dissection process! Discover the adaptations of a squid and write your name in squid ink as we learn about these aquatic animals. (2 students per squid)

K-12th students are able to register, but we will group students together with others in their age group.

Arrival & Orientation: 12:00 pm

Educational Demonstration: 12:45-2 pm (Dissection Lab)

Explore on your own: 2:00pm-3:00pm

***If you already have a science center membership, you will just pay the dissection lab fee only. Adults who have a membership don't have to pay anything, but please do register.***

We have one field trip coordinator ticket available.  If you register as the field trip coordinator,  you will be responsible for greeting group members as they arrive, checking attendance, and interfacing the the venue staff as the group leader.   SENHE will provide you with details ahead of the event.  Field Trip Coordinators get free admission.  :)
