The Curve Author & Writing Festival

The Curve Author & Writing Festival is a celebration of creativity, storytelling, and the written word for writers and readers of all ages. This dynamic event features hands-on workshops led by published authors and illustrators Natalie Lloyd, Savannah Allen, and Rachel Tawil Kenyon, offering participants the chance to learn directly from professionals about the craft of writing, illustrating, and finding their voice.

Beyond workshops, the festival invites attendees to experience storytelling in interactive and imaginative ways—create meaning through black out poetry, share original pieces in a welcoming coffeehouse-style story circle, and step inside the unforgettable Story Booth. Standing 8 feet tall, the Story Booth is an immersive storytelling experience where participants roll cardboard dice, build a story from what they see, and leave their tale behind as a message on the Story Phone.
