Summer Enrichment
We are pleased to announce that Southeast Nashville Homeschool Enrichment is planning to host TWO summer enrichment programs this summer! Each session will run from Monday through Wednesday and from 10:00 - 2:00 each day. We will offer groups in grade bands: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and we would like to offer the opportunity for our high schoolers to act as counselors. Read on for more information, and we hope to see you there!
Medieval Fantasy Week
June 17-19 (M, T, W)
10:00 - 2:00
$250 per student
Students will be transported to a world of fantasy where activities like archery, castle building, storytelling, and exploring the physics of trebuchets take center stage. Get ready for a festival style atmosphere filled with the sights and sounds of a medieval village while students collaborate to learn stories, explore music, create costumes, and sample foods from Western Europe in the Medieval time period. We will rotate through stations each day so everyone will be able to try their hands at various disciplines, and we will cap off our time together with a festival.
Olympic Games Week
July 15 - 17 (M, T, W)
10:00 - 2:00
$250 per student
Planned to coincide with the global celebration of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games, students participating in this enrichment will get to explore the Olympics in a multi-disciplinary approach. Students can expect to challenge themselves in mini-Olympic games honoring the original pentathlon, study Greek mythology alongside ancient Greek history, create their own flags and sample food and nutrition both ancient and modern alike. We will cap off our time together with an Olympic ceremony!
